CS:GO and Fortnite values cross-checked against independent sources on 20 October 2026.
How do I convert CS:GO sensitivity to Fortnite?
To convert CS:GO sensitivity to Fortnite, multiply it by 3.9604. CS:GO turns 0.022° per mouse count and Fortnite turns 0.005555°, so CS:GO 1.5 becomes Fortnite 5.94%. Keep the same DPI and both settings take 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full turn.
- Find your CS:GO sensitivity in Options → Keyboard / Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity (or the sensitivity console command).
- Multiply it by 3.9604, or type it into the converter above with your DPI.
- In Fortnite, open Settings → Mouse & Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity X and Mouse Sensitivity Y (set both to the same value) and enter the result as a percentage.
- Keep the same mouse DPI, or enter your new DPI in the converter.
Going the other way, a typical Fortnite setting of 6.5% is CS:GO 1.641, or 31.7 cm per 360° at 800 DPI.

Why CS:GO and Fortnite numbers differ
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive runs on Source and Fortnite on Unreal Engine 5. Fortnite numbers are 3.96× larger than CS:GO numbers for the same hand movement, because Fortnite turns less per mouse count.
CS:GO and CS2 share the 0.022 yaw, so a CS:GO sensitivity carries over to CS2 unchanged. Valve replaced CS:GO with CS2 in September 2023 and kept the same sensitivity scale, so a value from an old CS:GO config still works today.
Why does my converted sensitivity feel different?
- Field of view: a wider FOV makes the screen appear to move slower even at the same cm/360.
- Scoped and ADS aim: this matches hipfire only. Fortnite shows sensitivity as a percentage. Targeting and scope sensitivity are separate percentages on top of it.
- Mouse acceleration: if Windows acceleration or a mouse app adds it, the same movement turns a different amount depending on speed. Turn it off.
