How do I find my perfect sensitivity?

  1. Enter the sensitivity you use now and your DPI.
  2. Play the same short routine with the lower value, then the higher value.
  3. Pick the one you aimed better with; the finder moves the other option halfway towards it.
  4. Repeat until both options feel the same, usually about seven rounds.
  5. Use the result for a week, then copy it to your other games with the sensitivity converter.

More tips are in the guide to finding your perfect sensitivity.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PSA method?

PSA (perfect sensitivity approximation) tests a lower and a higher sensitivity, keeps the one you aim better with, and replaces the other with the value halfway between. After about seven rounds the two feel the same, and that value is your sensitivity.

How long should I test each option?

A few minutes of the same routine each time, such as one aim trainer scenario or a deathmatch. Warm up first so you are not judging cold hands.

Should I change my sensitivity often?

No. Once the finder settles on a value, keep it for at least a week so muscle memory can adapt before small tweaks.
